Ya know....I never though about it that way. Everytime I write a TMyst Fan Fic I always portray the Turtles as I saw them in the Cartoon or in the Movies, and I always wondered why almost everybody who worte a TMNT Fic changed the Turtles into something that I really dont want to see them as or something that puts them in a really weird state of mind. I never realized why. So now I have a good understanding in why people make them sexual or vulgar (not in a bad way). I dont belive it is wrong, but just diffrent, and sometimes it erks me to read stories of the TMNT acting in unfimiliar ways, but to all his/her own....
Why, in fact, have any of us done this?
Turned existing, copyrighted characters into ideas *we* want? Changed
motives, morals, ideals, situations, personalities, to fit us? Why this? Why
them? Why any of it? Have I done something wrong by writing something I
could have just laid out in a regular story? Have we all?
