For $.59 ...yeah, I think I woulda bought it. This coming from someone
who has several of those books & when she was younger scratched out all
the minor swears ("dammit!"). Sooo, now I have to live with that.
Although... I can certainly see how annoying that is since the names
were used alot! Heck, though, for $.59 I'd jump for joy if I found the
few I'm missing.
~Lauren, going back to lurkdom now...

Okay, I've got a slight problem. While shopping in a thrift
store, I found the TMNT paperback book, "Dinosaur Farm" by Dave
Morris. I've dubbed them 'publicized fan fiction novels' and have
already bought (and read) "Red Herrings," "Splinter to the Fore" and the
Donatello book "The Radical Robot" by Stephen Murphy (with illustrations by
Dan Berger and Brian Thomas :).
The "Dinosaur Farm" book was in decent condition with no rips or tears, all
the pages were there and it only cost $.59. Here's the problem.
Whoever the brat was that owned it before, they took a bright, neon
orange marker and high-lighted each time a turtle's name or Splinter was
mentioned! Totally ruined and also a distraction to the eye! These
kind of books have been hard to find but I didn't want to buy it like
that! Would any of you have bought it? Half of me wants to go back
and get it while the other half wants to wait and find it elsewhere without any
stupid high-lighted markings.
