Hm. the only misgivings I'm having is the !#%!@#ed theme song. I can't STAND it. It's corny as hell. I mean, the original toon's theme was... way better. I mean I feel that the show is trying to be cool and hip and be brooding and dark yet lighthearted at the same time, which is something is very hard to do. Personally, I would of been able to handle the original theme even tho i don't think it'd fit, OR even an orchestrated theme version.
Besides that, I can't wait and already love the direction the show is headin in. despite the silly theme song.

My thoughts exactly! The theme from the original show is and forever shall be a classic. It's my favorite TMNT theme, without question. However, I did like the version that was included on the FoxBox CD that was given away. This new official theme, however, is growing on me... although very *very* slowly. When I hear the entire song, the verses really irk me. And the fact that Shredder actually adds a line to this song (and a somewhat corny line at that) is something I don't think I'll ever get over. But since they chopped most of the song out of the actual show's intro, I won't mind hearing it each week. Still, nothing will ever beat the original show's theme.
