access that place, as much as we Pagans like to think we're "special"....

Anyway-- Joanna, do you recall Carl
Jung's work on archetypal dreams-- specifically Wise Teachers (usually
female) taking the dreamer on a journey to learn about the Nature of
Death?
The one I had in about the second grade
even featured a skeleton, but the burial ground I was taken to were the
Burial Mounds of Ireland....of course I had *no* idea where I was or what
it was about when I was eight- years old. But I wrote the dream down
and drew an illustration. Then years later at UC Berkeley while taking a
seminar on Jung it finally occured to me what the dream was about--whoa!
Yes, I was strange child...
