Hello, there,
I wanted to get to these messages sooner but I've had such a crazy day a
work, I'm surprised I'm still functioning. First off, I had to set the
tape to catch the Fox Box run because I had a courtesy clerk meeting
from 8 to 10 in the morning. I was told by my boss that if anyone was
scheduled to work later on, they would just push "start lunch" on the time clock
and when they come in to start their shift, push "end lunch." I pressed
"start lunch" around 10am and didn't return till 4pm. At 4, I pressed "end
lunch" (as told) but the time clock read I had exceeded the 1 hour! I
thought it was a mistake so I started pressing other buttons and totally messed
it up! My boss said it would have been fine if I had just pressed "end
lunch" and left it alone! Gee, could have warned me before that! The
day alone was totally ludicrous and the thing that really burned me up was
staying later. A courtesy clerk decided NOT to come in and the time I was
supposed to leave 7:30pm, was moved up to midnight!!!! It was great
that I got more hours in but it was also good that I stayed. Me and one
checker were the only two girls in the front end of the store after 10:30.
The checker would have been bagging groceries all by herself, plus her check-out
lane was moved right next to the sliding door entrance. Hey, if we had a
hold-up, at least there'd be two of us instead of one! Now, enough of my
job, you're probably all sick of hearing it. :)
First off, thanks so much, TB, for telling us the updates at the Official
TMNT site. I caught the new theme when I watched the tape and I got to
listen to the samples of the new voices! I'm much too tired to say
what I thought of each one but am glad I got to hear something! The new
Blast From the Past image is awesome! I think I would have kept that TV
Guide just for that great drawing! You can tell Peter's style is trying to
keep it as comic book-looking as possible even though the look is for the
cartoon. Still envious of him getting the first full length
episode! Grrr! The Fake News stuff is funny but I'm not keeping
it. I'm saving my brand new 8 hour tape for the actual TMNT eps! And
yes, I did tell my boss I need Saturday mornings off. Still didn't say
WHY!
Dave, I'm sorry to hear you've got those disturbing dreams.
*shudders* That's real scary to think about even when you're awake!
I hope those clear up right away or you start to dream of better things.
Hey, I can't seem to figure it out, but I've been dreaming a lot about that
Phantom of the Opera actor, Michael Crawford! I'd either be onstage
singing with him, going to a concert to watch him perform, or the one dream I'd
love to make a reality, meet him in person. I guess the reason why I've
been thinking about him a lot because it was getting closer to his
birthday. Which, by the way, is today! Woo-hoo! No, seriously,
January 19 is his birthday and he's 61! Yay! K, now I'm done with
that topic. ;)
Um, I had more to say but I'm dead tired. Sorry, to cut this short
but I'm off for now. Bye!
