The Sunday Indy Star did a report on the black peoples in this city.
They tend to stick together, as the white, hispanic, and asian peoples
doo. There's a stretch across the east/central/west sides of the city
that it seems the black, hispanic, and asian minorities clash.

My husband works in a store that caters to the black community, and
often he hears how some (of the gangsta type folks) hate the fact the
majority of the black stores there are owned and operated by asians
(koreans, to be more specific). So hubby wonders why they are so lazy
they can't start up their own businesses? It's not the fault of the
Korean people that they have the knack of starting up a business that's
successful. Despite the complaining, the black people still come to
buy the clothing and beauty supplies.
Well... at the risk of opening a can of worms I'll simply say it's been documented time and again that there's systemic discrimination against blacks when it comes to business (and all other) loans. There are other factors going on there too-- the Koreans generally have stronger family structures (a factor of both Asian culture and our wonderful legacy of slavery), which helps guard against business failure, etc., etc.

But yeah, I agree with Sean. No matter how PC we try to be, everyone
has some intolerances toward others. It's just a matter of how one
acts around those they don't like. That's what starts and ends war...
Yep.
