I liked how they had like a "first ending" showing what the earth liked
like after the second iceage as the narration went on.  It should have
ended there, I felt.  But when they brought in the aliens and such,
mehh...  the pseudo happy ending felt even more wierd than the simple
reality his wish never came true.  

But the movie in itself was pretty good.  I liked the complex messages
it showed there.  ;]
