Feel Sick". I never even heard of the comic till Adam bought me
the second
issue, but the main character is pale and skinny with purple
pigtails and a
similar face. The artwork looks just like "Invader Zim". I
wonder if Jhonen
knows anybody who works on TMNT.
Gaz from "Invader Zim" also had purple
hair, gothic-style clothing, and an I-don't-care attitude. My friend,
Wally, did the voice of Almighty Tallest Red on "Invader Zim" and knows Jhonen
very well. I could ask him if Jhonen knows of anyone working
on TMNT.
I'm glad Adam woke me up, because I would have
slept through--I forgot to
set the alarm again. I really enjoyed the
dialogue in this one--especially
the mention of the "warehouse on the
corner of Eastman and Laird". Nice
paraphrasing of the movie quote. I
figured that an east warehouse on
Lairdman Island would've gone right over
the kiddies' heads.
