Well, another comic adapted and adapted well. Really enjoyed today's episode and the dedication at the beginning was a nice touch, too. Added a few touches from the movies, like the entire hiding scene in April's apartment, right down to Mikey being spotted and replaced quickly by a stuffed toy. Too bad Mike & Don weren't chowing down on pork rinds.
~Myself and three kids all said, "Pork rinds!" right after the Nacho chips crack, so that's close....
Had to laugh at Raph singing in the shower. Was Kirby's crystal one of the crystals that have been the focus of the last few episodes? Hmmm....could be....
~I thought of that, too. And as Brina said that whole "It had to be crystals..." steal from Indiana Jones was nice.
Best line/comment goes to the April & Splinter combo:
"It seems like I've gone from being a happily single woman to the mother of 4 overnight"
"Tell me about it" (it was as much the line as the delivery of the line)
~Yes yes!
Although, Don's "Makes a good club, too" was good.
~I really had fun with how verbatim so much of it was from the original micro-issue, with the notable exception of this shouted form the bridge (my nomination for Best Cross-Over Line) "You shall NOT PASS!"
This is two weeks in a row that the preview happened during the first commercial break in the Cramp Twins. I hope that isn't going to be a trend. Another comic adaptation....Leo's solo shot.
~I missed it -- wah! Couldn't endure the Cramps long enough to wait and see, plus the kids had commandeered the PS2 and the TV along with it....
That should confuse anyone that's not familiar with the Mirage story line at all..."But Raph was the one thrown into the apartment"... Can't wait!

~Heh heh...does it count when one can readily confuse oneself? But me too, or me either, I mean, I can't wait for the next episode. I think that story arc had more to do with my final total surrender to TMNT fandom than any single other thing.....
