Wow! This allows what I want. I can have multiple iTerm windows displaying the same session. It each iTerm window I can selected a different tmux window to display. The only issue is that it seems that the number of rows and columns of characters displayed in each iTerm window must be the same. Extra space in the larger window is filled with period characters. This means that if one monitor is large and one is small (say a laptop), the large monitor can't be fully utilized for that tmux window. -- R.
