Because I'm in uncharted territory here! I've been using tmux for a couple of years now and have never been able to use copy n'paste for anything. I've had various notes I've made when surfing the net about copying but whatever I tried hasn't worked, up until now. But now I've got a winning formulae, that I've made a note of, and that will work for future requirements. So thank you, you've helped in increasing my knowledge :) Thanks Sharon. > > -------- Original message -------- > From: Thomas Adam <tho...@xteddy.org> > Date: 23/09/2013 23:52 (GMT+00:00) > To: Sharon Kimble <boudic...@talktalk.net> > Cc: tmux-users@lists.sourceforge.net > Subject: Re: How to copy the whole buffer? > > On Mon, Sep 23, 2013 at 11:46:04PM +0100, Sharon Kimble wrote: > > Okay, I'm attacking the problem from another direction - how can i > > copy *all* of the buffer to a text file please.
