While using a tmux-session with multiple connected clients, it would be great
to have an option for clients to navigate to other panes individually, without
taking all the other clients along with them. This would greatly increase the
ability for users to collaborate on projects, from editing multiple files at
once to have one user edit a file and have another comment on it in a separate
pane.
This functionality is already available for tmux windows, however it is, at
least for above mentioned purposes, far less convenient than having said
functionality for panes.
This feature is the only thing I really miss in tmux, it would make
collaborative projects a lot easier.
