Hey everyone, I am new to the Yocto Project. I want to build an image with Toaster. I followed the instruction and want to build my image like the tutorial.
The problem is: - All layers, machines and recipes are empty - In the instructional videos, however, there were a variety of available packages A link of the mentioned instruction videos: - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qYgDZ8YzV6w The layer I am looking for can be found here: - http://layers.openembedded.org/layerindex/branch/master/layers/ Error message of Toaster: „Toaster has no machine information for this project. Sadly, machine information cannot be obtained from builds, so this page will remain empty.” Can anyone tell me how to obtain information from builds? How to get all those layers without importing every single one? I installed Yocto on two different computers. Both systems use Debian GNU/Linux 8 (jessie) as the operating system. Surprisingly, all missing layers are right at place when I use “Linux Mint” on a virtual machine at a third Windows PC.
