Dear friends of the group, I am Srivyal Vuyyuri. I am the Head of Sphoorti Foundation, Hyderabad (www.sphoorti.org). We run a children's home near Cherlapally (2 km from the Central Jail).
A year back, we made a humble start from scratch - with three children, with little support and lot of ridicule and little money but a lot of hope. As months rolled, we have had the good fortune of patronage of many kind hearts who pitched in when we needed their help the most. With the spirit and support, we have grown to a position wherein we can take complete care of 41 kids as on date and a proposed increase in the number of children to 70 in another 4 months. We request all the members of the group to pay a visit and meet our children, interact with them and look for yourselves what we have been doing.
