Teams & Responsibilities for Hyderabad unplug:
1) Marketing: Prepare ads and publicize
a) Radio
b) Newspapers
c) Television
2) Publicity: Prepare fliers, brochures , organize booths to educate the
students, professionals, government employees
a) Colleges & Universities
b) IT companies
c) Government offices
3) Sponsorship: This is important , because if any company gets involved as a
sponsor, then, it would help in not only covering our expenses , but also help
us with our publicity efforts. The team will need to prepare a sponsorship
package for this.
a) Small business
b) Major IT companies
4) Administration: Paper work, permissions, venue logistics etc...
5) Website

I am keen on coming up with a core team of seven members to co-ordinate and
replicate Mumbai Unplug in Hyderabad. For the ice breaker meetup, let's meet at
Barista, Jubileehills on the 5th of this month. It will be a 1.5 hr meetup.
Note that some of the enthusiasts will not be available that day,
We will
1. Discuss various ways of conducting this event in Hyd (innovative
suggestions are Welcome), what can we do to publicise the event and last but
not the least getting to know each other.
2. Prepare a draft of the minutes. To be used for a quick consensus and walk
through during the core team meetups.
3. Decide upon a date and venue for the next meet up. The core team needs to
meet some time during the ensuing week. (Tuesday!)
4. Finalize the core team.
