Hello Mr. McClanahan and thanks   advance for your  prompt answer,

                                    My applet code needs to use javascript
functionality for navigating through 
                                    parent and child windows.
                                    When I try to include the java40.jar in
my classpath and also in the makefile,
                                     and then try to compile using make , I
get the following  error :
