mod_jk on HP-UX11

Hi there,

yesterday I played around with the source code of mod_jk because it does
not work for HP-UX 11. In order to test some things, I need to know
something about the expected behaviour (the Faq-O-Matic is out of order
at the moment):

Does the module start Tomcat automatically? I remember having read about
this, but I do not recall everything.
