getRemoteHost returns ip address

The getRemoteHost() method will return IP addresses (instead of host names) if 
DNS cannot be accessed.  What happens when you write a simple application that 
tries to call InetAddress.getHostName()?

Also, are you using Tomcat stand-alone or going through one of the web 
connectors?  If the latter, which version?
