(hebrew) Product: Tomcat 4 Version: 4.0.1 Final Platform: All OS/Version: Windows NT/2K Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: Other Component: Catalina AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] hey , i use tomcat 4.0.1 final on a win2k platform with IE6 , (also been tested with jboss 2.4.4 bundled with catalina 4) the problem i have is this : i cannot set encoding to ISO-8859-8-i (ISO-Logical accroding to IE )on the jsp pages and servlets , when ever i try the HttpServletResponse method response.setContentType("text/html; charset=ISO-8859-8-i"), and after that response.println(); i don't get anything , no exception is thrown ,and no output produced .
