If your ssi-servlet.jar does not contain classes like SsiDispatcher or SsiConditional then it is the old version of the SSI support. There are numerous problems with this old version. I'm almost to the point where I think it should be removed from the 4.0 releases or back-ported from HEAD to the 4.0.x branch. The stuff that's released with the 4.0 series is too fragile for production use.
