http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=10264 Need an option to generate generic Servlets from given JSP's ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2002-06-27 02:59 ------- Craig, I knew all of that. But in several cases it is important to do not have 3rd party dependencies. For instance, target deployment paltform may use different and incompatible version of jasper-runtime.jar installed (is that jar compatible with both Tomkat's 3.x and 4.x?). I suggest to add an OPTION to generate completely generic Servlets. So, developer can decide on what he needed - platform independence on cost of memory, or save some memory on cost of possible incompatibility. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
