http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=13151 documentation needs to include info about proxies for non-Apache web servers Summary: documentation needs to include info about proxies for non-Apache web servers Product: Tomcat 4 Version: 4.1.12 Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: Other Component: Webapps:Documentation AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tomcat 3.x had very thorough documenation, explaining how to use Tomcat with Apache, IIS, and Netscape Enterprise Server (now called IPlanet). The documentation for Tomcat 4.x is still missing any helpful words about using IIS and Netscape. I'm still using the same IIS plugin that I used with Tomcat 3.x and because it connects to AJP13 which Tomcat 4 still supports, it works, but I'm not sure if there is a better way to do it with Tomcat 4 - documentation would be helpful. Thanks. Also, I see no mention of the supposed new JMX admin front end in the 4.1.x documention. This new feature is hardly useful if there is no documentation about it. I'm still using the old very simple text based admin front end where you use the /manager URL and give simple commands like "list", etc. cause I don't know any better. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
