A bug was reported with the linux build with Apache 2.0.46 with libtool. This has been fixed and an updated mod_jk 1.2.4 source distribution for testing is available at:
http://cvs.apache.org/~glenn/jakarta-tomcat-connectors-jk-1.2.4-src.tar.gz
