FYI, in_addr_t is not defined on Redhat 6.2 which use kernel 2.2 and glibc 2.1.
And I thought myself a caveman for using RH 7.x ;-).
Some old production systems are still in RH 6.2 ;)
And I was still using RH 7.2 on my developpment machine 5 weeks ago
I'd prefer that this is handled by special defines in the autoconf script.
