After running the shutdown, I was no longer able to start tomcat. Unfortunately, no log is written. I see the command Prompt come up with the Tomcat title and then a flash of text, which quickly disappears as the command prompt window is closed. What can I check; I've confirmed that the items in your Troubleshooting section of the RUNNING.txt are not applicable.
