http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=24723 JNDI Datasource HOWTO instructions incorrect - Name jdbc is not bound in this Context ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-11-24 15:16 ------- I actually got the DataSource working as per the example, but only if i used the admin interface to add the resource. I added it under the context for my app, not in the global. However, this was almost a catch-22 because the admin interface would dump "cannot find driverName" if there wasn't a resource already defined. So I went directly to the server.xml file and added a "dummy" resource, then the admin interface would allow me to modify the url, login, etc. Then it worked. For awhile. Now it seems that when i have ant pop the war file for my app into the tomcat webapps dir, and delete the folder for my app under the webapps dir, i get the naming problem after restart. Do i have to be locked into the admin interface? whatever --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
