I'm sure, the Servlet Spec is clear about HTTP-Headers. The HTTP-Headers should be transmitted unchanged to Tomcat, no dought! The thing i talk about is the AJP13 layer. Beside the headers, mod_jk sends another field. You talked about it in Bug 34648.
