Hi all,

I am really a newbie on Tomcat. I am using Apache/1.3.12,
Apache JServ/1.1.1 and Cocoon/1.8.1-dev on Win2k (and Linux
as well). My Cocoon is a servlet under JServ and now I am
trying to switch over to Tomcat for better using of Cocoon/2.0.

But before 2.0 finally comes out I'd like to use it for the
older one.

Last night I read alot about Tomcat and all I thought about,
is, that Tomcat just replaces my JServ engine, isn't it.
But there is more - after removing JServ and installing Tomcat
and Cocoon in it, I recognized a new look of my Apache Web
Server(?). Is that really Apache what I saw? The directory page
said 'Tomcat Webserver 3.2.1' - what does it mean? That I don't
need Apache anymore, that I need it only partial, or is Tomcat
like a co processor for the real Apache?

Also, I can process only the /Cocoon.xml file under
http://[any-host]/cocoon/servlet/Cocoon.xml. But what about
http://[any-host]/Cocoon.xml and any other .xml files?

At first, I'd like to have Cocoon support for all my virtual hosts,
I've configured in my httpd.conf. But then, how can I install
Cocoon support only for special hosts and how can I install both
main versions(1.8.1-dev and 2.0) for some hosts?

My currently installed Cocoon/1.8.1-dev on Tomcat doesn't work fine,
because I can only access the status page at /cocoon/servlet/Cocoon.xml
and no other .xml files. How can I fix this???
