Last time I check, it's been a while, the blackdown.org jvm
was severely lacking in many departments(IMHO). Blackdown used
to be the "official" port of the vm to Linux but then IBM
came along. IBM's jvm has been the best I've used on Linux.
I believe it can be found at www.ibm.com/developer/. IBM tends
to write great compilers and they are definitely jumping right
onto the Linux caravan for the ride. The Sun implementation
is pretty standard to their other vm ports.
