Sorry for being such a pain in the ass, but It's still not really clear to me:

What do you actually suggest? Are you talking about this client deployer that's listed on that page? Where can I find it? (I cannot find it, neither the build file that's mentioned there)

Will this fix my problem?

So for confirmation: I shouldn't use the old ant buildfile anymore?

I'm sure you do. You seem to be stuck on that particular page of the docs, however, which happens to be out of date, and doesn't actually mention what is important.
Read the deployer page instead (http://jakarta.apache.org/tomcat/tomcat-5.0-doc/deployer-howto.html).

Because I don't think your stuff in server.xml is used at all.
