I have already done it. I started tomcat too. I just thought that I needed
to set up some variables in order to have it working. Well, I will try to
have it working now.

All you need to do is download tomcat, either in .zip or .tar.gz format,
and extract the archive.  That's it on unix systems.  You can then start
tomcat by running the bin/startup.sh script.
