Hi, I am running Apache 2.0.47 and Tomcat 4.1.24 on Win2K/NT. I would like to monitor the tomcat server and restart it automatically if it is detected down. I did a lot research but could not find any convincing way to do it.
Another issue, I am running tomcat load balancing with mod_jk. I would like to know from mod_jk.log (or anywhere else?) which tomcat instance has problem (if it happens). But I could not find how to put the information there. Those flags in mod_jk documentation does not work for me. I would highly appreciate it if anyone here could help me out.
