Tim, thanks. Then, is it possible to use <jsp:...> tags inside jspInit()? I am asking because it seems possible to use a JavaBean inside jspInit(). However, usage of a JavaBean has to be declared with <jsp:useBean ...>, and executed with, for example, <jsp:setProperty ...>. Is there a syntax, I am missing, that enables usage of a JavaBean inside jspInit()? Thanks, Jerry.
