I'm having trouble connecting to a plain vanilla database that runs on MS Access. I'm using a regular JDBC-ODBC driver to communicate between Tomcat and Access, and want to paste the results on a servlet. Well for some reason it cannot find the DB (driver not specified or data source not found). So I make sure I defined the User DSN properly and check for misspellings, etc. Still no luck. Then I try a stand alone application (just console, main[]) and the connection is successful. I use the exact same DriverManager Connection strings but it fails when going thru the Servlet engine in Tomcat. Any ideas? Alvin
