Hi, I`m running Tomcat 3.2.1 on a WinNT4.0 machine. I have a Swing applet that exchanges data with a servlet. On a WinNT client (not the Tomcat machine itself) with Netscape 4.75 and Java Plug-in 1.3 everything works perfectly (no errors on Tomcat or Java console output). On a Linux client, however, (SuSe 7.0, Netscape 4.74 with Java-Plugin 1.30), Tomcat tells me several < Date > -Ctx( ): 400 R( /) null errors when the applet invokes the servlet. The applet<-->servlet communication fails to work properly although the servlet starts correctly (e.g. opening a frame on the Tomcat machine). What exactly do the error messages mean? Could this be a Tomcat problem or rather a browser specific problem? Thanks, Martin
