Hi, Yeah, more than a hint: I caused this bug in 5.0.29, and this bug is the reason 5.0.29 will never get voted stable (I'm not even going to have a vote).
The bug is that I added the ability to have Jasper pass a -source directive to the compiler, and set the default at 1.3. If you're running on J2SE 5.0, -source 1.3 with no -target arg is a no-no. So use 5.0.28, or use -source 1.4 or 1.5.
