Here is the detail. I was successfully running Tomcat 4.X using JAVA_OPTS=-Xmx512m -Xms512m and my web application was running with this JVM Heap settings correctly, without any OutOfMemoryError. I recently installed Tomcat 5.5 and expected the same JVM Heap settings but they never happen. Now I want to set my own values of JVM Heap in Tomcat 5.5. Or simply my question is that how we can set JVM Heap settings in Tomcat 5.5.
