Hi All, I have a very basic question here. "What is tomcat ? Is it a Web Server or an App Server" My understanding was its a Web Server with a Web Container.
But recently I have come accross a lot of discussions saying that is an Application server? I tried to find out in the documentations, but nowhere it is clearly mentioned. Please advise.
