Here is a short description of the position my company is offering: 

Web System Architect (1) 

Schawk, Inc. is seeking a Web System Architect to design, build and
support the supporting server architecture for all new and existing J2EE
web based systems / web farms within the Schawk Enterprise. These are
global, web-based, digital asset management systems. This individual
will help ensure that these web based systems meet the data center's
overall objectives, SLA requirements and minimum uptime thresholds,
while complying with industry best practices and standards. This
position will also create installation, configuration, and disaster
recovery documentation and must be able to train others how to build,
manage and support these web based systems using this documentation.
Requires knowledge of one or more of the following: Tomcat, IIS, Apache,
Weblogic, Websphere, EJB, JBOSS, (also some J2EE experience, although
this is NOT a coding/developer position).

This position is located in a western suburb of Chicago. (O'Hare area). 

The individual we seek will be accountable for the following: 
* Design, build, and support complex web based server architectures /
web farms using Tomcat, IIS and Apache. 
* Establish/recommend policies on system use, setup and configuration. 
* Provide technical lead for system engineer(s) or others
* Create and maintain demo sites of software and services offered by
Schawk and Interchange Digital 
* Establish appropriate website security to prevent un-authorized access
to resources, code, usernames, password or any data not intended.

* Provide technical assistance and leadership to other departments as
needed. 

To qualify, you should have: 
* Some college; Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science preferred
* 3 to 5 years IIS or Apache experience or equivalent 
* 1 to 2 years Tomcat experience preferred. 
* Clustering, NLB, Web Farm Experience
* Experience working with J2EE compliant applications
* Excellent documentation and communication skills
