Pages are coming out "half-compiled"

I have tomcat configured with apache using mod_jk.  Sometimes, when clicking
around on the jsp pages, the page will show a bunch of random stuff.
Something that looks like stuff from apache's log and a bunch of the jsp
code shows up on the screen, along with some of the html that was supposed
to be generated.  Any ideas about this one???
