yes, you can create an alias for it in your web.xml file.

for example

    <servlet>
        <servlet-name>
            snoop
        </servlet-name>
        <servlet-class>
            com.servlet.SnoopServlet
        </servlet-class>
    </servlet>


the servlet can now be accessed using the URL
http://localhost:8080/examples/snoop
