From tomcat 3.2 to tomcat 4

Hi All
i was using Tomcat 3.2 with apache , to configure tomcat i used  in httpd.conf
include /app/jakarta-tomcat/conf/mod_jk.conf-auto 
I tried to do the same thing with tomcat 4 , but :) it doesn t work , 
so how can i do that ? 
tomcat 4 is it very different from the 3.2 ?
