Resin VS Tomcat!!

Hi all,

    In my opinion,
    Resin can run as a standalone web server
    Tomcat also can implement the standalone webserver.
    I have take a look on Resin's Homepage,
    Look like the performance of Resin is the best!!

    What is the major difference with Resin and Tomcat?
    performance (ONLY)?
    Or different in Supported HTML syntax...
