I actually added it to the tomcat.sh (dirty I know) but I wanted to make sure it was definitely loaded. But even when I add it to /etc/profile or /root/.bashrc, /root/.cshrc I get the same messages, the files must have been getting corrupted in transfer.
Where is TOMCAT_OPTS?
