Directory and jar configuration

I'm using tc 4.0.2 and I'm having a few problems with the location of the
required jar files. I'm currently using this structure:

 

CATALINA_HOME

    common

        lib

    server

        lib

 

But what I would like to do is:

 

CATALINA_HOME

    jar-directory

 

i.e. I would like to have all the required jars in one directory only. I
have full control over server.xml and there are no other applications to
consider. How can I achieve this restructuring?
