If I understand it correctly it happens like this : apache -> mod_jk -> AJP -> tomcat and back.
So mod_jk uses AJP to connect with tomcat (meaning you do not need HTTP connector if you are using Apache). hope it helps -reynir -----Original Message----- From: jo outen [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: 8. apríl 2002 17:47 To: Tomcat Users List Subject: help redirecting requests to mod_jk I am trying to setup apache to answer all incoming requests and redirect JSP/WAR requests to Jakarata. Does mod_jk need to have a listener for HTTP or HTTPS requests? Or can HTTP and HTTPS be answered by apache and have apache redirect the requests to tomcat? __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
