We have been using Visual SlickEdit on Linux for a few years now and we really like it. The new version adds support for an integrated Java Debugger. It's very nice, and very reasonably priced at $300.00. It has syntax highlight, "IntelliSense", source code control integration, and is customizable in the extreme. It's worth looking at.

I was wondering what kind of IDEs people were using for Tomcat development? Any recomendations for someone who's been developing on linux from a NT desktop via ssh? (vi has it's charms, but there's got to be a better way!) Anything to avoid?
