Tomcat on OS X is pretty vanilla Tomcat. I cover all the configuration stuff in my book: Mastering Tomcat Development. (I use it all the time.) Other than configuration, though, Tomcat on OS X is pretty similar to Tomcat on any other Unix. If you use OS X Server, you even get Tomcat pre-installed! (And since mod_webapp is such a pain to configure correctly, that's actually a pretty nice thing!)

One of the reasons you don't see OS X-specific posts is 'cause there aren't all that many OS X-specific issues. :-)

Is anyone on this list running tomcat on OSX?

I am a new subscriber, but haven't seen any posts from Mac users.

Thanks in advance,
I'm not one of them, but believe me, there are quite a few here. I
discovered this by posting a wrong guess to a Mac problem :(. Try posting a
Mac-specific question. If you ask it, they will answer. ;-)
