I made this to work, too! Seems like that problem was caused by double indirection.
See: http://www.mail-archive.com/tomcat-user@;jakarta.apache.org/msg55430.html http://www.mail-archive.com/tomcat-user@;jakarta.apache.org/msg58216.html These helped me solved it by removing isapi_redirect(or).dll from "Filter DLLs" key in W3SVC/Parameters entry in registry. Hope this helps somebody, Kale

Subject: HTTP Status 404 - /jakarta/isapi_redirector.dll
Date: Fri, 15 Nov 2002 01:40:25 +0900
I am trying to make Tomcat work with IIS.
(IIS 5.1, Windows XP, Tomcat 4.1.12, JDK 1.3.1)
I was able to make the green arrow up in the IIS ISAPI filter.
Now when I try the http://localhost/examples/jsp/index.html
page I get the following page:
============ start =====================
HTTP Status 404 - /jakarta/isapi_redirector.dll
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
type Status report
message /jakarta/isapi_redirector.dll
description The requested resource (/jakarta/isapi_redirector.dll) is not available.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Apache Tomcat/4.1.12
============ end =====================
Does anybody have any idea or experience on this error?
Need help,
Kale
