This is my configuration: J2se 1.3.1_06 Tomcat 4.0.1 Solaris 8 Sparc on Sunfire 280r
When I start the Tomcat process it runs fine until I exit the shell or xterm the process was started on. When I exit the shell or xterm the Tomcat process drops from memory. How do I ensure the Tomcat process backgrounds properly?
